Creating Content Worth Sharing

Getting your audience to sample your wares is easy. Getting them to come back again and again? That takes great content.

Join PRSA at our monthly luncheon as Texas Public Radio's Director of Marketing & Digital Content, Nathan Cone, walks us through the organization's programming and content strategy, focusing on online content, social media, and events marketing. He'll also share tips from NPR about best practices for engaging with audiences online.

Nathan Cone began his career while studying at Trinity University, where he graduated with a B.A. in Communication with minors in Communication Management and Art/Art History.  At Trinity University’s KRTU, he was a student manager, serving as Jazz Program Director and Operations Manager. Cone has been with Texas Public Radio (TPR) since 1995. He began at TPR working on classical music station KPAC 88.3 FM, as host of “Tuesday Night at the Opera.” He soon learned the ropes on KSTX 89.1 FM, and volunteered to work any shift that came his way. Since then, he has worked in nearly every capacity on the radio before moving into Marketing and Digital Media.
