Each year, the annual PRSA Del Oro Awards serves to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals in the public relations field and the excellent work produced by public relations professionals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. To see this year's award winners, go here. 

Join us for a fiesta celebrating YOU as we recognize 2020 & 2021 winners in the La Plata and El Bronce awards categories, and honor PR individuals in the following categories:

• Tex Taylor Lifetime Achievement:  Fran Stephenson, APR

• Public Relations Professional of the Year:  Rebecca Villarreal, APR

• Public Relations Champion:  Vinsen Faris, Meals on Wheels

• Community Service:  Debi Pfitzenmaier 

Updated COVID-19 Precautions:   

We want to celebrate YOU and keep you healthy! After careful consideration of the increase of COVID-19 Delta variant cases, we are implementing the following measures to protect the health and well-being of guests at the 2021 Del Oro Awards:

• We have moved the event to The Mays Family Center, the Witte's 10,000 square-foot facility that has enough banquet space to allow us to space out tables more and seat four people per table. Please note, if a table is purchased, it will be divided into two tables of four. 
• All guests will be asked to wear a mask when not seated at their table, consistent with CDC guidance and Bexar County and City of San Antonio recommendations.
• For the happy hour starting at 5:30 p.m., you will have the option to be outside.
