Joining the world of public relations with a journalism background, Lainey Berkus is known for creating moving and compelling stories for her clients. But her ability to connect those clients with local nonprofits, creating successful partnership marketing and collaborations, is what secured her success in the public relations industry. Honored with the 2011 PRSA San Antonio Del Oro Community Service Award, Lainey’s boundless enthusiasm, endless creativity and remarkable imagination has fueled some of San Antonio’s most memorable partnership marketing scenarios. Dedicated to serving the arts since retiring and becoming a consultant in 2011, Lainey has remained an active community and civic leader focused on sharing her insights and expertise with numerous arts organizations in San Antonio and currently serves on the Arts Advisory Board for UT Hospitals, the Library Sciences Board for UTSA and is a member of Les Dames Escoffier, working to further women in the culinary arts.
