As technology continues to develop and evolve, it becomes such a major part of our lives it that it changes the way that we as PR professionals need to communicate with the publics that we serve. During this luncheon, Sean Wood, multimedia manager at KGBTexas, will discuss a new take on public relations communications in this digital age that we live in. For instance,

You will learn how to leverage digital communications in order to help your organization or client to tell its own story, and ways you can augment your message by using multimedia. Sean will also challenge you to think beyond the press release and other traditional PR tools.
About the Speaker:
Sean Wood, the multimedia manager at KGBTexas, was a print journalist for more than 19 years, 17 of those as a business writer for various publications including the Dallas Business Journal, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the San Antonio Express-News. While at the Express-News, Sean covered the new Toyota plant, manufacturing and aviation. He also launched the Express-News business blog "Clocking In" and was part of the weekly comic book podcast, Comic Cast. In his current role at KGBTexas, Sean touches all things media. Last year KGBTexas won the San Antonio Business Journal’s "Social Madness" in the medium business category.
