How Far Is Your Media Reach? Take Your Story Beyond San Antonio
Extend your media coverage beyond San Antonio by working with local news organizations and reporters who have a statewide and national reach.
PRSA San Antonio’s March luncheon offers an opportunity to hear from journalists who recently began working in San Antonio for The Associated Press (AP) and Texas Public Radio (TPR).

Seth Robbins is the new San Antonio-based news correspondent for the AP, one of the largest and most trusted sources of independent newsgathering at the international level with more than 280 locations worldwide. Robbins has reported in Central America, Europe and the United States.
Founded in 1846, AP is a multimedia news service that includes a 24-hour online service, television, radio, social media and digital photo archive.

Shelley Kofler recently joined TPR as news director where she oversees a team of reporters who focus on in-depth coverage of San Antonio and South Texas.
TPR’s news stations include KSTX 89.1 FM in San Antonio, KTXI 90.1 FM in the Hill Country, and two stations in the smaller markets of Llano and Snyder, Texas.
TPR’s reports are heard on these stations as well as other National Public Radio affiliates in the state and on national programs such as “Morning Edition” and “Marketplace.”
Robbins and Kofler will share tips on how to pitch stories at the regional and national level to reach a diverse global media market.
