Improve Results with the
Four-Step PR Approach

You know how to do news releases, social media and contact journalists, but do you know how to get results that really matter to your organization?

Whether you are an established PR pro who needs a refresh on strategy, a new practitioner who needs to embrace the “PRSA way," or a seasoned career pro who is new to PR, you will learn ways to think strategically on every project, improve your results and help management see the value of public relations. And if you’re studying for your Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), this four-step concept is one of the foundational principles you’ll need to know.

PRSA SA Past President Gretchen Roufs, APR, will walk you through the four-step process and its intricate steps that often are the basis for winning PR awards and producing a return on investment for clients. You will take away valuable knowledge and a template for the process.

By the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

  •  Adopt a standardized protocol to plan successful PR programs.
  • Understand, embrace and define the need for “measurable objectives.”
  •  Know the difference between being a PR manager and a PR tactician.
  • Ask the right questions when you begin a new PR project or program.

Existing APRs can get continuing education credit for attending.
